This hands on learning course is designed to provide college bound students with the basic skills and knowledge of animal science, aquaculture, and plant science as preparation for a higher education degree program.

Work bound students will acquire the basic skills and knowledge for entry level work.

The course will introduce students to the various occupations available in the industry and will cover orientation to the small animal, aquaculture, and plant science curriculums including computer applications, new technology in agriculture, leadership in FFA, Skills USA, and job seeking/keeping skills.

Graduates of this program may transfer 22 credits to Bridgemont Community & Technical College.

This course is part of the EDGE program.
