Lynn Gattlieb graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Eastern Michigan University. Duquesne University is where Lynn earned her Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling and completed some post graduate work. Additional counseling courses were completed at West Virginia College of Graduate Studies and West Virginia University. She became a Nationally Board Certified Counselor in 1994.
Lynn was employed by the Pittsburgh Public School system as a substitute teacher when she was attending Duquesne. She moved to West Virginia and began her career as a school counselor in Jackson County. Lynn worked at Ravenswood High and Ravenswood Middle Schools before she was employed in Kanawha County. She worked at Dupont High School and Riverside High until last year when she joined the staff at Carver.
Mrs. Gattlieb has enjoyed working with the students and staff at Carver. She is looking forward to another school year filled with productive students who will be prepared for their future careers and adulthood.
