Surgical Technology (Adult Program) The class schedule and information are found below. Instructors: John McIntyre Prerequisites: Pre-admission testing and a personal interview are required. Weekly Schedule: Classes are daily 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. Clinical days are 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. Clinicals are 5 days per week starting in January and finishing in June.

The Surgical Technology program prepares you to work in the exciting world of the operating room. As technology changes, operating rooms are always in need of well-trained surgical technologists who are willing to continue the learning process throughout their lives. Students will learn the principles of aseptic technique, scrubbing, gowning, gloving, positioning, prepping, draping, instrumentation, back table set-up, sterilization, disinfection, vital signs, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Theory (Surgical Technology for the Surgical Technologist).
