Electrical Technology
Greg Young, Instructor

This program follows the National and NCCER Curriculum and is designed to teach the fundamentals of electrical work, terminology, basic principals, and the theory underlying general practices and enable students to work in entry level electrical positions. Students will study Watts Law, Ohms Law, Electrical Math, Electrical Projects, Grounding, Switching, Wiring, and Services. Students will become proficient in application of the National Electrical Code.

The Adult Program is Eleven Months and requires 1250 hours of class work.
The High School Program is Ten Months and 1080 hours.
Graduates are eligible to take the West Virginia Apprentice or Journeyman’s Licensing Exam.
